Concept & Problem :

Bookma was a mobile app designed to enable book exchange and resale, helping users give unused books a second life.

The challenge was to design a simple and trustworthy system for peer-to-peer exchange while maintaining visibility over each book’s journey across different owners.

UX Strategy & System Design :

I designed the UX flow around a barcode-based tracking system, allowing each book to be registered, exchanged, and tracked over time.

Users could request exchanges or trades, while the system preserved ownership history to build trust and transparency within the community.

UI Design & Core Screens :

The UI was designed to support discovery and clarity across key screens, including home, book categories, book detail pages, and user profiles.

Wireframes and final UI focused on ease of listing, browsing, and exchanging books with minimal friction.

Role & Outcome :

I worked as the UX/UI designer, handling research, benchmarking, user flows, wireframes, and final UI design.

Although the project did not launch due to the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, it demonstrates end-to-end product thinking and system-level UX design.
